Choose ring:

Indre ring (eng: The Inner Ring) -Orange dots on the map

Toll stations outside Ring 2 in Oslo with “arteries” going out to Grefsen and Trosterud – payment in both directions. (A total of 38 toll stations).

Osloringen (eng: The Oslo Ring) - Pink dots on the map

Oslo’s original toll ring – payment in both directions. (A total of 22 toll stations).

Bygrensen (eng: The City Border) - Green dots on the map

Toll stations near the municipal boundary between Oslo and Follo / Romerike / Bærum – tolls are only payable for traffic heading towards Oslo. (A total of 23 toll stations).

Why are the toll stations where they are?

  • The toll stations are strategically placed to ensure that no streets/roads cross the toll ring without passing a toll station. The location of the individual toll stations is as far as possible adapted to existing buildings and access routes.
  • The location of the toll stations has been decided by the City of Oslo  (case 353/2017 eInnsyn – Political case)), Akershus county, Bærum municipality, Nittedal municipality, Ski municipality, Lørenskog municipality and Oppegård municipality. The Storting adopted the above measures in a resolution dated 29 May 2018 (Prop. 69 S (2017–2018) (Regjeringen.no)
  • You can read more about why individual toll stations are located where they are here: bakgrunnen for plasseringen av hver enkelt bomstasjon (PDF).
