If you get a new tag, you must re-apply for an exemption, as the exemption is registered against your tag number. You can use a simplified application form to do this.

I want to renew an exemption for people with reduced mobility

You cannot extend or renew an exemption. When the exemption expires, you must apply for a new exemption.

I want to transfer a tag with an exemption for people with reduced mobility to a new car

You do not need to apply for a new exemption as long as you change the registration number on your AutoPASS subscription and transfer the tag to a new car. The exemption will then automatically be transferred to your new car.
